DOJ Tax Alumni Reunion - May 10, 2013

To the Alumni:

The Committee attempted to schedule the DOJ Tax Alumni Reunion contemporaneous with the ABA Tax Section May 2012 Meeting.  However, the venue -- the Great Hall -- at Main Justice was already scheduled.  Accordingly May 2012 is not feasible.

The Committee is shooting for a May 10, 2013 Reunion contemporaneous with the ABA Tax Section May 2013 Meeting.  We will not know until December 2012 whether we will be able to schedule the Great Hall for the event.  We will try to be in the front of the line on December 1 for the request and will do an update in early December 2012 as to whether we are successful.

Alumni might want to put some type of placeholder or notice of the possibility of the reunion for that date so that they will not inadvertently create conflicts.  Again, we have no certainty that we will be able to book the Great Hall, but we will sure try.

Please do keep in mind that the meeting is contemporaneous with the ABA Tax Section May Meeting in order to offer the most people the opportunity to have two good reasons to come to DC (and of course regular attendees will be there anyway).
